Heather gave me a bunch of ideas (after explaining to me what cosplay was of course), and I’d have to say…w-well I don’t really think I could do it. It just seems so embarrassing, don’t you think?
I’ll be sticking with my regular clothes for now. Or at least until Halloween.

I had this idea that to make things right, I should adopt her. Mary told her in that letter that she wanted Laura to be her daughter someday. I’m not great with kids (I’m not even sure I like them to be honest) but I felt like I at least owed it to Laura, and to Mary for that matter.
Well, long story short, she refused my offer. For now she lives here at the house, taunting me occasionally and eating my food, until she finds somewhere better to go. Perhaps she’ll change her mind and stay here with me, but I doubt it. I can’t blame her for hating me…
